We are Union of the Social Professional Organisations
The Union of the Social Professional Organisations was founded in 1995 as an umbrella organisation whose main objective is to represent the interests of social professionals and social NGOs and to control policymaking in the social services sector. Its founding president was Professor Dr Zsuzsa Ferge.

Ethics College
Establishing and continuously improving the ethical standards of the profession.
Supervision Task Group
The task group is responsible for building and maintaining a roster of accredited social work supervisors, and for developing professional standards for the accreditation process.
Fact-Finding Expert Working Group
Analysis of current social problems and development of professional proposals
Ad hoc task groups and committees
Within the Association there are several temporary working groups that organise one-off or annual projects/programmes.
Knowledge base of the social professions
The knowledge repository is a joint project with the Szabó Ervin Library of Budapest, which aims to collect the knowledge of the social profession, organise it in an internet library and make it freely accessible. (The project is starting now.)
